Changing/Resetting your pin for Microsoft Exchange Voicemail

Changing you pin is a very simple and easy task that can be done in very few steps.  The following are the options that you can choose from to change your pin number.

 

For Outlook 2010

Step 1)   Open Microsoft Outlook 2010 and click on File Tab

Step 2)   Select Manage Voice Mail

Step 3)   Click on Reset Pin

Step 4)   Press ok to Reset pin

Step 5)   You will then receive a email from Microsoft Exchange containing a temporary pin.

 

For Outlook 2007

Step 1)   Open Microsoft Outlook 2007 and click on Tools

Step 2)   Select Options

Step 3)   Select Voice Mail

Step 4)   You will be given the choice to reset the pin for your voicemail, to do so click the reset button.

Step 5)   After you reset your pin a temporary one will be sent to your e-mail until you can change it.

 

For Resetting voice mail PIN through WebAccess 2007

Step 1) Open webmail.unt.edu in Internet Explorer

Step 2) Click Option in the top right corner

Step 3) Click Voice Mail in the left navigation menu

Step 4) Look for "Reset Voice Mail PIN" section in the min window

Step 5) Click "Reset Voice Mail PIN..." and click OK in the confirmation dialog box

Step 6) You will receive a confirmation email

 

For Resetting voice mail PIN through WebAccess 2010

Step 1) Sign into Outlook Web Access.

Step 2) Select Options on the right and click on See All Options.

Step 3) Click the Phone link from the left and then Click Reset my voice mail PIN… under the heading Reset PIN.

Step 4) Reset Voice Mail PIN prompt will be displayed. Select OK to receive a temporary PIN emailed to your inbox.

Step 5) Your PIN must be at least 6 digits long and cannot be the same as your previous PIN.
