Setting up a user for Enterprise Voice OCS Call Bridge

Prerequisites:

• MMC with the latest Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Add-ins

• ADUC

• User must be SIP enabled for OCS Follow these steps to set up a user for enterprise voice OCS call bridge

 

Step 1)  Open the properties of the user in the ADUC.

Step 2)  Under the “Communications” tab, select “Telephony Settings”.

Step 3)  Select “Enable Enterprise Voice”.

Step 4)  Enter their line URI in the format “tel:+1940565####”. Replace the quoted phone number with their correct 10 digit phone number.

Step 5)  Click “OK”.

This will allow users to create an ad-hoc conference call using the (940)369-LIVE system on a PSTN telephone. If your user would also like to allow participants to dial in to a Live Meeting using a PSTN phone, you will need to apply the correct LiveMeeting policy to their user object BEFORE they schedule the Live Meeting.
